Let Him use us as He will, for His purposes, which are sometimes known only to Him (until all is revealed to us when we meet Him in heaven.)

I am reminded in St. Faustina's diary she sometimes notes sufferings, disappointments, and hardships that are only known to Him and her, everyone else being oblivious to the situation. That resonates with me. And how she knew the work (her diary, the painting, the efforts of Fr. Sopocko to spread the devotion, the Chaplet and Novena, her sacrifices and prayers) would appear to all be destroyed and forgotten, yet she soldiered on, with her faith growing as she was tested day in and day out.

Keep writing Tom. One never knows how the work done today for His glory will bear fruit (thirty-fold, sixty-fold, a hundred-fold) when the time comes. In any case, God certainly has a plan. And it includes you.

God bless. ~ FranAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332117297336636395.post-35360140508067647032016-06-15T10:16:25.315-04:002016-06-15T10:16:25.315-04:00And may He bless you, Fran. It seems you are one ...And may He bless you, Fran. It seems you are one of the few people who read this anymore; it used to be a hundred a day or more, now it's just a handful. I wonder if God is using this for anything, or if it is just me making note of His goodness to me, for me to remember. But then I see things like these people, and the choices they made, to do something good, and how results were not part of their plan. I guess, giving time and health, I will continue to write these words late in the night, as long as He speaks to me. Perhaps my rewards are not in me knowing who reads or possibly benefits from this effort, but in ways that only He knows. And I am content.
