What Goes Around ...
I was listening to the Laura Ingraham radio show this
afternoon. They talked about the impact
of “social media” on teenagers and young adults. They said the average teen spent over two
hours a day on “social media.” And they
said how almost 25% of teens who spend hours on social media have various forms
of psychological difficulties, making bad life choices.
“It’s a cancer,” one person said. “It’s a curse,” a caller commented. “It’s a temptation
teens can’t resist,” another said.
Later, thinking back on their words, my mind suddenly
thought of another temptation that couldn’t be resisted, and a bad choice made. It happened a long time ago, and strangely,
it was over a forbidden fruit. Traditionally, this fruit was identified:
APPLE
What’s in a name?
What goes around, comes around?
